In the early hours of Tuesday 18th March, Israel launched fresh bombing raids on Gaza, tearing up what was left of the ceasefire agreement. Since October 2023, Gaza has endured a catastrophic Israeli military assault that has forcibly displaced more than 1.9 million people — nearly 90% of its population. Families are surviving in tents or makeshift shelters with very little protection against the harsh winter.
